NASEO CommitteesThe National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) committees are the formal mechanism for members to work on NASEOs top priorities and ongoing issues. The primary role of the committees is to identify emerging issues that are relevant to the state and territory energy offices. The committees collect, analyze, and disseminate information about these emerging issues and work to educate members and others. The committees work helps to guide the associations strategic direction and, where appropriate, builds consensus on issues. Committees also play an integral role in setting NASEOs annual Issues Agenda. The organizations Issues Agenda defines NASEOs top advocacy priorities and sets the tone for staff and organizational activities for the coming year.
