Energy Production Committee

Vice Chair:
The Energy Production Committee researches and analyzes
electricity generation issues across fuel types, and works on
siting, transmission, and distribution issues on behalf of NASEO
members. The committee examines oil and natural gas production,
distribution, and end-use issues, as well as the advancement of
renewable energy production (e.g., wind, solar, biomass) and more
traditional distributed generation technologies. The committee
develops positions for the board’s consideration on a variety of
issues, including, but not limited to, transmission, utility
restructuring, demand side management, resource planning, and
interconnection.
