Government Affairs Committee
Chair: Dub Taylor, TX
The Government Affairs Committee focuses on implementing NASEO's
legislative and government affairs strategy by monitoring federal
legislation and appropriations and by providing input on executive and
agency actions that impact the State and Territory Energy Offices. In
particular, the committee aids in identifying state concerns and issues
regarding federal actions, and provides input on NASEO's communications
directed toward national decision makers. The committee assists NASEO's
Board of Directors and staff in developing information concerning
individual bills or actions, and aids NASEO's General Counsel in
conducting the organization's government affairs outreach activities.
