EIA Data for State Energy Planning and Analysis

On Thursday, January 12, the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) hosted a webinar which provided a review of the EIA website, highlighting the availability of state-level energy data including supply, demand, production, and cost information.  It also provided examples of how EIA data can be used in analysis, in understanding a state’s energy use, and for longer term forecasting and planning.  The EIA website is also an important resource for State energy assurance planning efforts that require a detailed understanding of how energy is supplied at the state, regional and national levels.  This webinar also highlighted upcoming improvements to EIA’s State Energy Profile pages and enhanced graphing capabilities for oil and gas data.  Below is a link to the full recording of this webinar, as well as a list of speakers who presented during this time.
