Webinar/Virtual Meeting

NASEO members are invited to join the upcoming webinar, “Introduction to Commercial PACE and Potential for CHP,” hosted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Combined Heat and Power Partnership.  The webinar will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm EDT.

Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) is an innovative way to finance energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades to buildings repaid as a property tax assessment over a period of years.  There are 25 PACE programs in 12 states, up from four programs in two states in 2010.    Through the highly efficient and reliable generation of electricity and useful heat for commercial buildings, combined heat and power systems can be excellent candidates for PACE financing.  This webinar will feature David Gabrielson, Executive Director of PACENow.  Topics to be covered include an overview of commercial PACE, the potential for combined heat and power project financing through PACE, and the PACE program experience with combined heat and power.
