NASEO-DOE: Ramping up the Market for Zero Energy Buildings Webinar

The Department of Energy (DOE) will partner with the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) to host an informational webinar to address the current state of zero energy buildings in the marketplace and to provide a roadmap for participants to develop and implement a zero energy building program.

Presenters

  • Todd Sims, Program Manager at the National Association of State Energy Officials, will present on the current policy landscape related to zero energy building.
  • Paul Torcellini, Principal Engineer with the National Renewable Energy laboratory, will present on the development and release of the DOE's common zero energy building definition.
  • Puja Vohra, Program Manager from National Grid, will speak about the Rhode Island Zero Net Energy Pilot project's taskforce, challenges, and successes.
  • Lee Colten, Assistant Director of Efficiency and Conservation at the Kentucky Department for Energy Development and Independence, will discuss successful implementation of zero energy schools in Kentucky.
