The New York Mercantile Exchange is the world’s largest physical commodity futures exchange and the preeminent trading forum for energy. Energy futures trading is conducted through the NYMEX Division, which provides markets for futures and options contracts for crude oil, gasoline, heating oil, natural gas, and electricity.
