- Dynamic Energy Management: Prices to
DevicesSM
ELLEN PETRILL, Director, Public/Private Partnerships, Electric Power
Research Institute
Not only do devices and equipment powered by electricity need to
become more energy efficient, they need to be able to respond to
price and other key signals to manage electricity during peak
periods. Imagine if devices could communicate with the power
delivery system to manage their electricity usage, and network
together to optimize system usage. This session describes dynamic
energy management as envisioned by EPRI, and the research initiative
being launched this winter.
