Northwest Industrial Energy
Efficiency Summit
January 20, 2010
Oregon Convention
Center, Portland, OR
The objective of the 2010 NW
Industrial Energy Efficiency Summit
(NW Summit) is to provide an annual
executive level forum to foster the
ongoing development and
implementation of a collaborative,
regional energy strategy that will
sustain the vitality of the
industrial manufacturing sector in
the Northwest. This one day summit
will bring together leading decision
makers from industry, government,
utilities, associations and academia
from Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and
Washington. The NW Summit is a
follow-up to the U.S. Department of
Energy’s (DOE) Industrial
Technologies Program (ITP) hosted NW
Industrial Energy Efficiency Summit
that was held last February in
Portland. The 2009 NW Summit was the
second in a series of regional
industrial energy efficiency forums
hosted by DOE in its efforts to
establish the foundations for a
national commitment to reduce
industrial energy intensity.
