M Street, N.W.,
Washington, DC
The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy
Reliability, U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), and the
National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) invite you to
participate in the 2009 Summer Energy Outlook Conference.
This important supply and demand forecast event will be held on
Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in Ballroom 1 at the Fairmont
Hotel, 2401 M Street, N.W., Washington, DC.
Global energy supply and demand changes, last fall’s hurricane season, and
the current widespread economic downturn have all contributed to price
volatility in the last year. The Summer Energy Outlook Conference will
address what lies ahead and identify key factors that may influence the
movements of energy supply, demand, and prices in the coming months.
To help inform the energy community and others, this conference will
present EIA’s Short-Term Energy Outlook and presentations by industry
representatives and energy experts who will discuss the global energy
markets, the U.S. energy supply and demand picture, the outlook for
natural gas and ethanol, and emerging smart electric power grid.
There is no charge for registration. Please note that space is limited. If
you have any questions, please contact Shemika Spencer at: 703.299.8800
