Three gas utilities -- Yankee Gas, Connecticut Natural Gas, and Southern Connecticut Gas -- have submitted an expansion plan to increase the availability and use of natural gas within the state. The plan is now subject to Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Agency review, as well as review by the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority.
