On May 21, a bipartisan group of U.S. Senators sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry thanking him for the commitment he made to release FY’18 funding for the U.S. State Energy Program and the Weatherization Assistance Program no later than July 1, 2018. The Secretary’s statement was made in response to a question from Congressman Tonko (D-NY) during a House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology hearing.
