The U.S. Department of Energy launched a new website for its nationwide network of 24 university-based Industrial Assessment Centers (IACs). The IACs perform no-cost energy, productivity, and waste assessments for small and medium sized U.S. manufacturers. Following site visits, the IAC teams provide comprehensive reports that identify cost-saving opportunities. The reports also identify applicable rebates and financial incentives. Through the new website, users can apply to receive IAC services, reach individual IACs serving their area, and access various cases studies, technical reports, and other resources.
