State Energy Plans - Tennessee

Back to State Energy Plans

Although the State of Tennessee does not have a document titled “State Energy Plan,” the Tennessee Clean Energy Future Act of 2009 addresses various state energy planning elements.  This legislation was based on the findings of former Governor Bredesen’s Clean Energy Task Force.  Additionally, the Tennessee Valley Authority, which provides electricity to approximately 99.7% of the service territory in TN, released its most recent Integrated Resource Plan in 2015 https://www.tva.com/Environment/Environmental-Stewardship/Integrated-Resource-Plan.
