Task Force Responsibilities

The Chair of NASEO's Board of Directors may form new task forces at their discretion. The Chair appoints task force chairs and co-chairs. Task force membership is open to all NASEO members and affiliate members. However, task force chairs may select the number of members needed for the task force from among volunteers. If more than the needed number of members volunteer, chairs are encouraged to represent a diversity of perspectives and interests in selecting members.

Task forces must consult with and report their activities to the chairs of related committees and to the Board of Directors on a regular basis. Reporting is necessary in order for the chair of the board to provide direction to the task forces and in order to inform the membership about the activities of the task forces.
