Status/Summary

After releasing two Special Messages on Energy, Michigan’s Governor Rick Snyder signed into law energy reforms that paved the way for a safe, reliable, and affordable “no regrets” energy future for Michigan.   These reforms established a new energy planning process and updated Michigan’s laws on resource adequacy, rate cases, electric choice, renewable energy, and energy waste reduction.
