On July 5, 2023, the Indiana Office of Energy Development (OED) collaborated with the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV), Indiana Management Performance Hub (MPH), Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), and Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) to launch the Indiana Vehicle Fuel Dashboard, a platform to provide publicly available information about how vehicles are fueled in the state. The dashboard enables users to explore BMV data from January 2018 to the present and to visualize alternative fueling trends in transportation throughout the state. According to OED Executive Director, Ryan Hadley, “The Indiana Vehicle Fuel Dashboard puts the data directly in the hands of citizens and businesses to see how vehicle adoption trends have and will continue to change.”
