Energy Technology Validation and Deployment in Public Buildings: New NASEO Meeting Series and Engagement Opportunities

In partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s (EERE) Office of Weatherization and Intergovernmental Programs, NASEO will be soon begin holding a new series of meetings and discussions designed to identify opportunities for enhanced state-federal collaboration on the validation and deployment of later-stage, pre-commercial energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies for buildings, with a focus on public buildings and facilities.

This webinar will introduce DOE EERE’s technology validation efforts and offer examples of innovative technology validation approaches by State Energy Offices. Participants will receive a primer on Technology Validation developed for State Energy Offices, and will be asked to share needs/priorities for energy efficiency and/or renewable energy technologies.
