Florida Governor Rick Scott has signed H.B. 579 into law, which replaces the state's alternative fuel annual decal fee program with a new tax structure for compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, and propane autogas, and establishes a rebate program for natural gas fleet vehicles. The vehicle rebates will cover up to 50% of the incremental cost of the natural gas or propane vehicles, limited to $25,000 per vehicle.
