U.S. House and Senate Members Sign on in Record Numbers to Support SEP and WAP

The U.S. Senate FY’20 “Dear Colleague” Letter  attracted a record 45 U.S. Senators – 5 more than last year – in support of funding for SEP and WAP.  The letter calls for $70 million for SEP and $254 million for WAP.  This follows the record-setting FY'20 House “Dear Colleague” Letter which attracted 137 U.S. House Members – 30 more than last year – in support of funding for SEP and WAP.  The "Dear Colleague" letters were circulated on a bi-partisan basis by Senator Collins (ME-R) and Senator Reed (RI-D), and by Representative Tonko (D-NY) and Representative McKinley (R-WV).
