NASEO Joins DOE-EPA SEE Action Leadership Agenda for Existing Commercial and Multifamily Buildings

NASEO has joined a number of federal agencies, state and local governments, and private-sector partners in the “2020 National Leadership Agenda for Existing Commercial and Multifamily Buildings."  The initiative is being led by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and currently includes NASEO, the State of Utah, and affiliate members the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and the American Council for and Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), along with eleven other partners from across the country.

The DOE initiative will develop a national agenda to strengthen market demand for energy efficiency, harness building and energy-related data, and expand public-private partnerships and intergovernmental collaboration in the commercial and multifamily sectors.

The proposed agenda is part of the larger State and Local Energy Efficiency Action Network (SEE Action). SEE Action includes 200 partners from state and local governments and the private sector and is facilitated by DOE and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
