On October 5, 2015, NASEO, in conjunction with the American Petroleum Institute, convened a meeting between representatives of state energy agencies, oil and natural gas industry, and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) on the recommendations contained in the National Petroleum Council Study on Enhancing Emergency Preparedness for Natural Disasters. NASEO will host a conference call to discuss the draft action items developed during the meeting on Thursday, December 3, 2015.
