On Monday January 26, 2015, from 2pm – 3pm ET, NASEO will hold a Buildings Committee conference call. The first half of the call will feature a presentation from the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS), which works with states and local school districts on promoting green and energy-efficient schools. Bill Orr, Executive Director of CHPS, will discuss the organization’s history and the recently-released CHPS Criteria rating system that can be used in every state and the District of Columbia.
On the second half of the call, Christian Taber and Patrick Keal from Big Ass Solutions will present on the company’s energy-efficient fans and LED lights for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. Big Ass Solutions is based in Kentucky and has worked on projects internationally as well as in all 50 states. NASEO will also provide an update on the upcoming Energy Policy Outlook Conference.
