The Southwest Energy Efficiency Project (SWEEP) honored Dr. Will Toor, Director of Colorado’s Energy Office and Vice-Chair of the NASEO Board of Directors, with a Leadership in Energy Efficiency award for his decades of service and extraordinary record of success in advancing energy efficiency and climate policy at the local and state level in Colorado.

“Through his intellectual acumen, collaborative problem-solving, and strategic vision, Will has had a profound impact on climate and clean energy policy across Colorado and beyond,” said Elise Jones, SWEEP’s Executive Director. “As a mayor, a county commissioner, a nonprofit and university sustainability leader, and now a state energy office director, he’s left his mark no matter what hat he’s worn.”
